“The 4 towers will each sit on 4 storey podiums and are surrounded by a central courtyard. Each building will have communal rooftop residents-only garden spaces. The central garden, complete with bbq’s, will be unique to the rest of Macquarie Park. The penthouses will even have internal stairs to access their own private rooftop gardens. There are 19 penthouses in total.”

“We wanted to provide a unique identity for the development by using attractive facades. The two rectangular buildings will feature fine grained mass sliding doors for privacy and to break up the building. The two diamond shaped buildings will have special coloured glass to provide a vertical flow pattern.”

“Rain water will be collected from the roof tops and used to irrigate the podium garden and in the car wash bay. Passive solar will also be used.”

“The ground floor is recessed to create a plaza area to activate the street front and provide an extension of the Macquarie Centre retail experience. This will include restaurants, cafes and alfresco dining, a children’s water play area and public art. It will be a landscaped public domain area and provide an important extension of the shopping centre” added Mr Parsons.

“The 2000sqm food and beverage retail plaza within Prime will essentially become a seamless extension of Macquarie Centre. This public domain will become an important value add to the Macquarie Centre shopping experience.” said Mr Zhang.
